How to Use Sage for Cleansing and Energy Clearing

1. Light the Sage: Hold the end of the sage bundle or stick and light it with a match or lighter. Allow it to burn for about 30 seconds, then gently blow out the flame. The sage should smolder, releasing smoke.

2. Set Your Intention: Before you begin, set an intention for what you want to clear or manifest. Whether it's cleansing negative energy, inviting peace, or promoting healing, focus on your purpose.

3. Smudge Your Space: Slowly move the sage around your space, letting the smoke flow into corners, around furniture, and doorways. Use your hand or a feather to fan the smoke into areas that need cleansing.

4. Cleanse Yourself: To cleanse your own energy, slowly move the sage smoke around your body, starting from the head and working down to your feet, while focusing on releasing any negative or stagnant energy.

5. Close the Ritual: Once you’ve smudged your space or yourself, extinguish the sage by gently pressing it into a fireproof dish or bowl. Let it cool before storing it for future use.

Tip: Always use sage in a well-ventilated area, and keep it away from flammable objects. Never leave burning sage unattended.
